Dear Friends,
The war in Ukraine has changed our country and city so much. In February, we woke up in this alarming new reality with many new challenges. Since then, over 2.5 million Ukrainian refugees have crossed the borders of Poland and have settled here. Poland has become the largest home for them in Europe.
Moved by this new reality, we began serving those in need. We have used our resources and connected different organizations and leaders throughout our leadership network that we built over the years. As a result of this need, we sent practical support to several places in Poland run by evangelical believers and churches that have helped over 1,000 refugees in the last couple of weeks.
Last week we opened a distribution center for refugees from Ukraine in partnership with other churches and organizations in our city of Wroclaw. Since we opened last week, we served over 700 people, mainly mothers and their small children who escaped the terror of war. They arrive in Poland very traumatized. It is a great privilege to offer them practical help and hope for a better tomorrow. They usually come sad and concerned but leave our centre thankful, and with a smile on their faces.
We have employed Aleks, who is originally from Belarus and now helps us in running the centre. He and his family are members of our church, involved in ministry. Most of our volunteers who work with us are also from Ukraine. What a blessing!
Most important, the new centre gives us an avenue to distribute Christian materials and have opportunities to pray for the people who come. Today we are organizing a special Good Friday celebration with our volunteers and guests of our centre.

As believers we can’t forget the invisible spiritual warfare going on around us. We declare the victory that was already won by Christ on the cross of Calvary! This is the heart of the message of Easter! Christ is alive and we are saved by His grace. Happy Easter celebration, dear friend and partner in ministry!
