Dear Friends,

I’ve been blessed by the leadership of Bobb Biehl who is a significant mentor in my life. Bobb defines leadership in this way: “Leadership is knowing what to do next, knowing why that is important, and knowing how to bring the appropriate resources to bear on the need at hand.”

I agree with Bobb on that definition. Without a clear focus, it is difficult to lead. I will share some recent initiatives of the Golden Apple Institute that have helped other leaders gain leadership development.

Leadership Forums We regularly organize Leadership Forums where various experts share from their experience and create a learning community. At our recent Leading with Purpose Forum we invited five experienced leaders to share. They were from Colonial Hills Church and partnered with us on this forum. Speakers encouraged participants to find and serve their BIGGER purposes in a world of different causes.

Our Leading with Purpose Forum is officially endorsed by the Mayor of Wroclaw which validates the growing impact of our initiative. We received amazing feedback from participants of the Forum. Several comments were published afterwards on official organizational sites, remarking on the positive impact of the Forum. We were also able to organize several sessions with our guests at the University which opened a new door of opportunity for broader impact on the next generation leaders. We are so grateful for that!

Schools for Speakers This fall we initiated two Schools for Speakers which is a sixth edition of the program. It is a practical training consisting of six workshops which focus on developing communication skills, including learning to present one’s passion and vision. It is exciting to see how this course equips leaders with tools that enable them to become so more effective communicators. We currently have 24 leaders from four different cities going through this program, with other cities on a waiting list.

National Women’s Conference Agneieszka was invited to the National Women’s Conference in Warsaw where she led a discussion panel on discovering a person’s calling in life. She did a great job!

Agneiszka is certified in administering Career Direct tests and shared her experiences with the participants of the conference. She regularly meets with clients who take the test, reviews the report results and does follow-up coaching. She hears amazing stories of people who look at their lives from a new perspective. They often feel empowered to make important career decisions, moving forward into their lives or changing pathways.

These are just a few examples of initiatives we create to help leaders become focused in their work or ministry. Whether we conduct individual coaching sessions, speak at various events or lead one of our workshops, our focus remains the same: We lead with a purpose of helping leaders focus on their BIGGER purpose. It’s more about “being” than “doing”. It’s about leading people from wherever they are to where God wants them to be.

Thank you so much for being part of this journey with us. What is your bigger purpose?

Blessings, Wojtek and Agnieszka
