Dear Friends,
Each year, our government requires non-profit organizations to submit an annual report. As I complied the summary of ministry activities for 2017 – 2018, I was reminded of many amazing events and outcomes that occurred in the last year. We wanted to share our remarkable year for the Golden Apple Institute by numbers:
15 Leadership Workshops with leaders of churches, Christian organizations and their teams focusing on increasing their leadership skills and aligning them with God’s calling in their lives. One participant said: “This is exactly what we needed as a team! Golden Apple Institute provided spiritual insights and encouragement, but also practical tools we can use in our ministry”.
2 Schools of Speakers aimed at training people in practical skills for public speaking, especially in terms of preaching. It was a great joy to see how those who completed the course grew in confidence and skills. Eight of them are now actively involved in public speaking.
One next-generation leader involved in student ministry said: “The School of Speakers is a great initiative with high quality content which is very helpful to my ministry”.
7 Leadership Forums which are open seminars when we invite professional experts to share their experience with others to create a learning community. The last Forum was organized in partnership with local government at the City Hall right at the heart of Wroclaw. One of our speakers was Mr. Jacek Sutryk, who is now running in the election to be the next President of our city. We were able to pray for our entire city at this historic site. We are excited about this new door of opportunity for a broader spiritual impact on our city.
Over 200 hours of Individual Coaching & Mentoring with leaders, focusing on personal, spiritual and professional development in their lives. It is always a great joy to observe the changes in the lives of leaders we work with.
2 Discipleship Training Conferences (Warsaw and Wroclaw) in partnership with Downline Ministry in Little Rock, Arkansas. These conferences were preparation steps for the vision of launching a full 9-month School of Biblical Discipleship in October 2018. We recruited an impressive list of respectable and well-known Bible teachers who agreed to teach in our School. The registration for the school just opened. Publishing We continue publishing articles and have a regular column in Slowo Prawdy (Word of Truth) monthly magazine and Nasze Inspiracje (Our Inspirations) quarterly.
Renewal Festival We are so excited that this initiative turned out to be a great success in our city. Over two thousand people participated in the Festival’s various activities organized by the Wroclaw Covenant of Evangelical Pastors in partnership with our city. Josh McDowell was our keynote speaker. I had the privilege of translating his messages into Polish. Friends, this is just a brief outline of our 2017-2018 activities. As we review the above list, there is only one thing to say: To God be the glory!
