This spring has been a busy season for us. However, it’s so amazing to see the fruit of our work after months of preparation for a major festival here in Wroclaw.
The Renewal Festival is one of the biggest evangelical events reaching the entire city of Wroclaw. We are in partnership with all the evangelical churches in our city and other Christian organizations. The Polish website for this event is www.ODNfest.pl
Golden Apple Institute is organizing a leadership forum at the Wroclaw City Hall. This is a terrific opportunity to have impact on leaders from our city. The meeting is called “Living with Passion for the Good of Others”. One of the speakers is the Director of Social and Cultural Department of Wroclaw who is running for mayor of our city. Over 100 people are signed up for this forum.
As part of the Festival this weekend, many events for children, students and families have been planned. It is a great honor to have Josh McDowell speak from the main stage on both Saturday and Sunday. Josh is an American Christian apologist, evangelical and author. On Saturday, he will share his story and we will distribute over 5,000 copies of his famous “More Than a Carpenter” books. On Sunday, we will complete the Festival with a worship service of unity, praying for our city. Josh will speak on how to build effective relationships in the family.
