Pastors and others praying for the New Year.

Dear Friends,

Wojtek & Dawid celebrating the New Year!

The beginning of a New Year is a time of reflection of the prior year and planning for the upcoming year.  We recently posted a graphic on our Polish Facebook saying, “2018:  12 New Chapters, 365 New Opportunities”.

We are grateful to God for the accomplishments of 2017 and look forward to opportunities ahead of us.

Last year was definitely a year of many significant new beginnings for our family:

  • We finally moved to a new house in a different neighborhood.  This was a dream come true for us!  We wake up every morning, thanking God for this amazing change.
  • The move meant a new school for Dawid.  It so happens that this is one of the best schools in our region; it just opened last year.  Dawid truly enjoys being there and is thriving on the challenging academics.
  • We moved our church membership to the New Hope Baptist Church in Wroclaw.  We serve as part of the leadership team assisting the pastor there, while at the same time supporting two young church plants here in Wroclaw.
  • We also celebrated our 16th anniversary of our marriage.  We are still in love and are truly excited about what is ahead of us.
  • And, finally, at the end of the year, we met with a director of an adoption agency in Wroclaw and applied to adopt a son.  We are now on a waiting list for the training, but the process has begun big time!

Ministry-wise, it was an amazingly fruitful and productive year.  Here is a summary in numbers:

  • 38 Leadership Workshops
  • 7 Leadership Development Forums
  • 2 Series of Schools of Speakers
  • 5 National Conferences we partnered with
  • Over 500 hours of Coaching and Mentoring

We are so thankful for all that happened in 2017!  It wasn’t an easy year.  There was much hard work and transitions.  However, as we look at the fruit of it, we see a beautiful Golden Apple.  Our hearts are full of gratitude and excitement about new opportunities.

Our wedding – the best is yet to be!

Equipping leaders to be disciple-makers is at the center of our mission.  We can’t wait to begin our new School of Biblical Discipleship in 2018.  This is our biggest project and goal for the year.  So much work is ahead of us!   However, we are confident that 2018 will be an amazing year!

Thank you for you prayers and loving support!  May this be a year full of God-given new beginnings and opportunities for each of you!

Blessings for the New Year,

Wojtek, Angieszka and Dawid
