Dear Friends, **Wojtek in USA March 26 – April 11, 2018.**
Jesus said about Himself: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die.” John 11:22-26.
Do you believe this? The Lord says this in the context of what seems like an impossible situation. Lazarus dies and his sisters are struggling and think in terms of “If only Jesus were here, he never would have died.” Yet Jesus never fails. He resurrects Lazarus and shows that nothing is impossible to God. The question is still relevant: Do you believe this?
It is so empowering when we switch our thinking from an if only perspective to believing in God’s possibilities.
Here are some facts about our seemingly impossible step of launching our dynamic new program called Downline Poland in October 2018:
Poland has 38 million people with only .04% of an Evangelical presence.- Wroclaw is a city where 700,000 people live (where Golden Apple Institute is based).
- There are only 15 Evangelical churches in Wroclaw.
It’s so easy to slip into a “minority complex” and think in terms of our overwhelming evangelical challenge as: If only there were more of us; or If only we had more resources; or If only we had greater impact.
However, there is another perspective. Nothing is impossible to God when you trust Him and believe in Him and His possibilities.
This is why we are so excited about the School of Biblical Discipleship which is a 9 month practical course in discipleship. We will partner with churches in Poland to strengthen and elevate discipleship and put it to practice. Our launch date is October 1, 2018. We have shared the vision with pastors in our city and they are very supportive.
We also have an impressive list of 35 well-known Bible teachers from all over Poland who have agreed to teach at our school. We are grateful for partnership with Downline Ministry in Little Rock which agreed to accredit our course. Now we are working on promotional materials including website video clips, and already have people interested in participating.
Our goal is to have a minimum of 90 students in three years which will produce 420 disciples! This is an amazing strategy to make a spiritual difference in our city and throughout our nation! This program applies Jesus’ strategy of multiplication of disciples into practice.
We believe that nothing is impossible to God. We are committed to equip the leaders in Poland to be disciple-makers.
