Dear Friends,
After a busy and fruitful season of ministry, we are grateful for everything we have experienced this year. Looking back, so many significant things happened that we cannot but pause in awe of God and say, “Soli Deo gloria” (All glory to God). We feel privileged to be involved in Kingdom work and to see amazing results.
The Renewal Festival: The Wroclaw Covenant of Pastors organized the Renewal Festival in Wroclaw which was held on June 2. Nick Vujicic (www.lifewithoutlimbs.org) was our main speaker and he exceeded all of our expectations. After months of preparation for the Festival, it was gratifying to have such a positive outcome. Here is how the Festival looks in numbers:
- 20,000 people were present at the Stadium event.
- 4,000 people had positive responses to the Gospel message preached by Nick.
- 730 people signed up for online follow-up course on the basics of Christian life.
- 150 people came for follow-up meetings at Wroclaw churches on Monday.
- 167,000 people watched the event transmission online through YouTubes and Facebook for both the Stadium and school events with Nick Vujicic.
Leadership Forum: We have organized the Leadership Forum at the City Hall of Wrocław in partnership with the Mayor. The Forum is called “The Power of Words”.
Recently, we had a discussion panel which included two high ranking representatives of the local government, a senior pastor of Wrocław for Jesus Church and one celebrity who was the leader of the Gospel Life Choir. It was a great opportunity to impact over 100 marketplace leaders from our city and we are so excited about that. We look forward to future projects with the city of Wroclaw.
School of Biblical Discipleship: We also celebrated the graduation of 18 students from the School of Biblical Discipleship. After 9 months of classes, and over 135 hours of teaching and practice, we saw impressive results in the lives of our students.
We were honored that Dr. Danny Hinton, Director of Downline Little Rock, came with a team to celebrate this special time with us. We are so proud of our students’ growth and desire to change their worlds for God. We thank God for each of them. We will write more on this in a separate blog.
Evangelical Poland: In June we collaborated on a long-term project of Evangelical Alliance called Evangelical Poland. This partnership creates a platform for Evangelical leaders to work together in reaching our nation for Christ.
We are involved in leading two networks: one on leadership development and one on discipleship. It is exciting to see leaders representing various denominations working together on a vision that unites us all. Our next meetings are scheduled for September.
Now it’s a time to rest and be away from our everyday responsibilities. We are spending a few weeks in the US visiting friends and churches which support our ministry. It is always good to be back here to recharge and joyfully sharing what God did over the last year. We anticipate the new projects and ministry ahead of us. We like this saying in our family: “Work hard, rest hard”. Now is the time to rest hard and prepare for the new season.
Thank you so much for being on the journey together with us. We couldn’t do our ministry without your loving support and prayers. We are so grateful for all of you! And remember to take some time to rest hard this summer and thank God for all the blessings you are experiencing in your life!
Blessings,
Wojtek and Agnieszka
