Dear Friends,
Golden Apple Institute is a partner for the Polish conference of the Global Leadership Summit (GLS). This is an international leadership summit that occurs at 675 international sites in 125 countries and 59 different languages. As a result of our partnership with GLS, I was asked to share my vision of leadership which was published today. I consider this request a great privilege and honor.
During the conference I had a opportunity to interact with many leaders. Here is a fascinating story that demonstrates how our lives intersect with many leaders within our country:
I met Grzegorz who is a director in a large transportation company based in Wroclaw. He googled me online and was shocked to learn that that I am the voice of “Prosto z Serca” (Right from the Heart) radio spots. Grzegorz became a Christian as a result of hearing us on the radio; he then subscribed to the RFTH devotionals. From this resource, he found out that God is real and interested in all aspects of his life.
Today Grzegorz is one of the leaders in The Rock Church in Wroclaw and shares his passion for Christ with others. He gave his testimony as an introduction before I preached in his church last Sunday! What an awesome story! I am so grateful for the partnership with RFTH ministry based in Atlanta, Georgia, which is a blessing to so many in Poland.
This month we also celebrated the 10th Anniversary of CEL (Centre of Education of Leaders). I helped found this successful leadership training program for pastors who mentor their leaders. Daniel Trusiewicz of the European Baptist Federation and Gustaw Cieslar, President of Baptist Theological Seminary, are also founders and are still involved. Since its founding in 2006, CEL has trained over 150 leaders; 15 of them have 
become full time pastors! The leadership of the Baptist Union of Poland joined with pastors and their wives in this time of training and celebration.
Thanks to all of you have prayed and financially supported this vital ministry. We are grateful that Dr. Richard (at right) and Stephanie Blake from Xtend Ministries International, also CEL founders, were able to attend with us. The Blakes manage the contributions and record-keeping for our foundation, the Golden Apple.
Here is another significant November event that we are thankful for: Golden Apple Institute was invited to be a part of the teaching team for the first Christian post-graduate program in Poland which focuses on “Christian coaching and mentoring”. The college is located in Warsaw. This is a wonderful opportunity to shape a new generation of leaders in practical skills for making disciples both in the church and in the marketplace.
Golden Apple Institute‘s purpose is “to accelerate the impact of evangelical leaders”. We are so grateful for the opportunities that God opens for us to fulfill this mission.
