We attended the Passion City Church in Atlanta this morning. This is the church that Steve and Connie Tucker go to. It was an amazing time of worship.
One of the songs was called, “Thousand Hallelujahs” and encouraged us to give glory to God, for He is worthy of praise all the time. The song inspired me to look at my life and come to God with a thankful heart for there are so many things to be grateful for.
We visited Passion City Church two years ago when our lives were in a big transition. We had many questions about our ministry. I remember praying to God and submitting to Him, saying, “You are all I need.” Over the last two years, the Lord moved powerfully in our lives and allowed us to experience the mighty power of His love and grace as we minister to those who are in ministry. We are so grateful for how God has confirmed the vision and direction of the Pastors2Pastors ministry.
Since that crossroad, we have lead many conferences, coaching workshops and continued with the School of Leaders. We are blessed by a growing media presence in Poland and just recently, I participated in the Festival of Hope with Franklin Graham. We consider all these activities as signs of God’s blessings.
Is it always easy? No. It takes alot of hard work, time and energy. There are times when it gets lonely and difficult. But God is always faithful; always a step ahead of us; always bringing encouragement and direction when we are open to seek Him in our lives.
As I stood in the big crowd of worshipers in Passion City Church, my heart was deeply moved and refreshed. It was as if God was saying, “I am with you! You are here because of Me! I have good plans for you!” The message this morning was very powerful about the meeting of Jesus with the Samaritan woman. As this woman trusted Jesus with who she really was, I was reminded of our need to trust God with who we really are. This message of trusting God is at the heart of Pastors2Pastors ministry and it was so wonderful to hear and experience it in the Passion City Church.
Later that afternoon, we visited another special place called Indian Springs Holiness Campmeeting below Atlanta. Our dear friend’s great grandfather helped found the camp in 1890. It was to serve as a place of preaching and teaching about the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives as we become more Christ-like.
Being there was a very moving experience as there is so much evangelical history there. To stand by the pulpit in this open-air tabernacle was like standing on holy ground, where many great evangelists shared the Word of God for over 124 years. It is still a place where people come every year to celebrate a special time of worship and fellowship.
It was an awesome Sunday!
Blessings,
Wojtek, Angieszka and Dawid
